Events Who We Are |
Renewable Energy and Clean Technology SeriesThe Renewable Energy and Clean Technology Series has been an active part of the MIT Club of Northern California Entrepreneurship Program since 2004. Our mission is to promote entrepreneurship in the field of clean technology and renewable energy in the Bay Area, by providing a forum for executives, entrepreneurs, investors and analysts to share real-world experiences, opportunities and challenges in the field. We offer a series of events featuring networking followed by a panel discussion or keynote presentation. We also partner with related groups and programs in the Bay Area to provide additional services, such as discounted invitations to other events, tours of renewable energy facilities, sessions with venture capitalists, mentoring of entrepreneurs, career services, and email lists and wikis to facilitate networking and team building. In addition, we continue to support the California Clean Tech Open, which we initiated in 2006, and is now a separate organization. Our program is open to all with an interest in renewable energy and clean technology. While it is designed to facilitate those actively trying to start, build and/or operate a clean technology and renewable energy business, anyone interested in or involved with entrepreneurial endeavors in this arena can benefit by participating. Our events have attracted a growing community of energy and other industry professionals, consultants, venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, market analysts, academics, and others.
